Renae Taylor: the blue ridge mountains, of Virginia, United States; Renae's work is about memory, imagination and retaining the sense of wonder in the world that she felt as a child. It's about holding on to the idea that something wondrous and strange is just around the corner. Renae Taylor grew up believing her parents found her under a bush in their back yard. This belief shaped her into the multi-faceted artist she is today. Her work focuses mainly on nature, mythos, and positive feminine imagery. In addition to working as a freelance fantasy illustrator, accomplished doll maker and costume designer, she also offers prints and original paintings to her customers through numerous conventions and festivals around the country, as well as here. when she is not traveling she currently residing in on a farm in the Blue Ridge Mountains of Virginia..........., oh yeah, and she graduated cum lodi in 1998 from the Savannah collage of Art and Design with a BFA in illustration and a minor in art history
